The Foster Care Co-operative (FCC) has hosted a children’s art workshop that will lead to pieces of work being displayed in Cardiff.
On 30th May, both foster and birth children of The Foster Care Co-operative’s carers descended on FCC’s Welsh office to get lost in the world of creativity – with the theme being The Welsh Flag and ‘what Wales means to me’. Some coloured in a print of The Red Dragon (Y Ddraig Goch) – while others created their own vision of Wales from scratch.
The children’s work will be displayed at The Red Dragon Centre on 8th August – during Eisteddfod week. An ‘eisteddfod’ is a Welsh festival of literature, music and performance – and will be held in Cardiff for the first time in 10 years.
Any children that could not make the workshop but would still like their work displayed will be invited to send their work directly to FCC’s Cardiff office.
