Our Art Exhibition, held within The Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff on 24th July, was a huge success!
We displayed fantastic art, created by the children of our foster carers during an art workshop day earlier in the year. The theme was our 20th Anniversary Celebrations, so there were lots of drawings of birthday cakes and cards! We were truly touched and amazed by the effort made by all those that entered their artwork for display.
The centre piece was a huge drawing of a birthday cake, with the most vibrant colours. It looked so nice that we all wished it was real!
We also gave children the opportunity on the day for some colouring in – so there was plenty for passers-by to do!
We loved talking to the families that stopped by, and we received some fantastic feedback – both for the artwork and for what FCC do within the wider community.
A big thank you to all our staff who gave up their usual duties to go down and look after the exhibition! Also, another big thank you to The Red Dragon Centre for hosting our exhibition once again!
